CAPMC, Cwmbach and Beaufort Male Choirs were given the honour of singing at the Principality Stadium prior to the Wale v Barbarians RFC rugby match on Saturday. In addition CAPMC was asked to sing the players into the stadium as they arrived following their coach journey from their respective hotels.
Some of the comments from BBC Sport included this one from Newport prop Lloyd Fairbrother which underlines the effect of the choir
‘’Coming down Westgate Street with all the police shire horses stomping away, it was just rows and rows of passionate Welsh people of all generations. I just loved that. It touched me, it was brilliant.
You jump off the bus and there is a choir singing and it was surreal. I had never felt that sort of passion before.’’
