A really sad day for the choir as we say farewell to our brother, Ken Griffiths.
Kenny sang with the choir for over 30 years, and was treasurer for much of that time. Everyone who knew him will have stories to tell, as he was a true character - cheeky, funny and generous. He was a key part of the choir through bad times and good, and would have been very proud to have seen the 22 second tenors in practice this week. All our thoughts and good wishes are with his family and friends who supported him through the cruelty of dementia. We are proud to have raised thousands of pounds for the Alzheimer's Society, and will continue to support them in their push for a cure to this hideous disease. Rest in Peace doesn’t seem quite right for Kenny - he’ll no doubt be causing mischief in the heavenly choir - but he will be missed by so many.
