David Hart 90 today - 7/11/2025

Friday this week is a very special birthday for David Hart (B2) who is 90. When I joined the choir David was a stalwart of the second tenors but over the last couple of years he has moved to the Bass section as his voice has matured. When I address emails to the choir I use the term ‘gentlemen’ very loosely but in David’s case it is an exact description of the man - he is a gentleman. David has been in the choir almost 40 years and has held the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary so he is sucker for punishment. You could say he has given his life to the choir with massive support from his wife Ennid.

David will be joining the nonagenarian club with Jack Gardner (T2), Watkin Lowe (B1) and Roy Jackson (T2) while John McMullen (B2) has only recently left the choir - there must be health benefits in singing!!
